Winter in Switzerland

If I had to choose I would definitely prefer summer over winter. However, when the weather is fine and the summits of the mountains are covered in white snow, not even I can resist Swiss winter’s charm.

The other day, when I went on a hike with my family in Berschis, near the Walensee, a beautiful mountain lake, I took the most amazing pictures. The sun was shining from a clear blue sky and the air was crisp, but not too cold. We walked through a deep valley along a river until we reached a waterfall. It was a magnificent sight, as the water that fell over the edge of the rock sparkled in the sunlight.

It was a very easy walk, about 25 minutes long and very much recommendable for a comfortable Sunday excursion.
