LBD (little black dress)

Hey there! ๐Ÿ™‚
This post is about the perfect little black dress I wore last summer in Italy for a nice night-out with my boyfriend. The LBD is a classic and you can wear it almost everywhere – to work, to a dinner, to a party, …
I really like my dress because of its simple, but thoughtful cut and the light comfortably falling material. The details are some ruffles at the front and a small ribbon that can be used like a belt.
There is hardly a better time and place than a warm summer night in anย old Italian town to go out for a really romantic dinner. One thing I have to remember for next time though: If you want to go and eat between 7.30 and 8.30 pm you have to expect a potential waiting time of about half an hour, which means you better call the restaurant or go by a bit earlier than you want to eat and let your reservation be pre-noted.
We decided to go to a pizzeria to have a real Italian dinner before we left (it was our last evening). In one of the narrow old town streets of La Spezia we found a beautiful pizza place called ‘Il Trittico’ (by the way also on Trip Advisors Top 10 pizza places list of La Spezia). They have an amazing selection of pizzas – all the classics you can think of, and apart from that, a lot of very unusual variations.
I can truly recommend the one with rucola, tuna and a special cheese called ‘fior di latte’ – so delicious! Also there was a pizza with a typical Ligurian cold meat my boyfriend was really fond of.

I combined the dress with a pair of brown leather sandals, a simple black bag and a bright red lipstick, because I felt the dress did not need more.

Little black dresses you can find in uncountable variations almost everywhere. At the moment, I especially like this t-shirt dress with a bit of lace from, this long-sleeved version from mint&berry, or this cut-out dress from topshop.

And here comes the gallery ๐Ÿ™‚
