In this Sunday post, I am sharing my favourite black and white shots of this winter. What I really love about b&w photography is that the pictures highlight things such as light and darkness, motion and stillness, shadows and reflections, without distracting the eye by means of colours.
At first sight, b&w pictures might appear more simple than coloured ones – because they only have a very limited ‘colour’-scale. However, I believe that due to this, the contrasts between the shades often appear much more dynamic and vivid.
Tell me what you think of the pictures and what you think is important when taking b&w photographs 🙂
Hope you enjoy the gallery!
