Another café in Zurich which I will definitely come back to: Bros Beans & Beats had been on my list for a very long time, and a some time ago, I finally went there with a friend for lunch.

The coffee shop is situated a little outside the center of Zurich, but it is well reachable with the tram (number 9 until “Werd). The interior is a mixture between industrial minimalism and colourful details – stylish and cosy at the same time. Besides the area with the tables, there is also a lounge area with a couch which looked really inviting.

We ordered two kinds of open sandwiches – one with avocado-feta squish and tofu and one with cream cheese and smoked salmon. Both had a small salad as a side and made the perfect quick healthy lunch. Bros Beans and Beats also has a great brunch menu, but this is offered only until 11.30 – I’ll have to try that some other time 😉
In general, the café offer light and healthy food, and the dishes are beautifully arranged.

Noch ein Café in Zürich, das ich auf jeden Fall wiedermal besuchen werde: Bros Beans & Beats stand schon lange auf meiner Liste und vor einiger Zeit habe ich dort endlich mit einer Freundin zu Mittag gegessen.

Das Café befindet sich ein bisschen ausserhalb des Zentrums von Zürich, ist aber gut mit dem Tram zu erreichen (mit der Nummer 9 bis “Werd”). Die Inneneinrichtung ist ein Mix zwischen industriellem Minimalismus und bunten Details – gleichzeitig stylisch und gemütlich. Neben dem Bereich mit den Tischen gibt es auch eine Art Sofa-Lounge, die sehr einladend aussah.

Wir bestellten zwei verschiedene belegte Brote – eins mit Avocado-Feta-Mus und Tofu und eins mit Kräuterfrischkäse und geräuchertem Lachs. Beide hatten einen kleinen Salat als Beilage und waren perfekt für ein schnelles, gesundes Mittagessen. Bros Beans & Beats hat auch ein tolles Brunchmenu, allerdings wird dieses nur bis 11.30 angeboten – das werde ich also ein anderes Mal ausprobieren 😉
Im Allgemeinen offeriert das Café leichtes und gesundes Essen und die Speisen sind hübsch angerichtet.

Conclusion

Food ♥♥♥♥♥ – qualitative, healthy and tasty
Location ♥♥♥ – not in the city center and not in the prettiest area,
but it’s worth going there
Atmosphere/ Interior ♥♥♥♥♥ – mix of minimalistic/ industrial and colourful/ ethno
Prices ♥♥♥ – not cheap, but not over-expensive

Essen ♥♥♥♥♥ – qualitativ, gesund und lecker
Lage ♥♥♥– nicht im Stadtzentrum und nicht in der hübschesten Gegend,
aber es lohnt sich dort hin zu gehen
Atmosphäre/ Einrichtung ♥♥♥♥♥ – Mix aus minimalistisch/ industriell und bunt/ethno
Preise ♥♥♥ – nicht günstig, aber auch nicht überteuert
